The United States Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) Commanding General Major General Christopher Eubank participated in a fire-side chat panel discussion at the Army’s Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T) and Network Cross-Functional Team's (CFT) 12th Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM 12). The event took place on May 29-30 in Philadelphia, PA.

"Together, the Army, our stakeholders, and industry partners are forging a path to a modernized Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN), ensuring secure, resilient, and innovative solutions that empower our mission and safeguard our future," remarked Eubank.

TEM 12 was a pivotal event focused on the Army’s number one transformation priority: the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN). Building upon the successes of previous TEMs, TEM 12 featured increased technical discussions, operational feedback, targeted prototyping contract opportunities, and strategic sessions between government and industry leaders.

Major General Eubank’s additions to fire-side chat highlighted the critical importance of advancing the Army’s network capabilities to support modern warfare and mission requirements. His insights underscored NETCOM’s commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration within the defense community.

The meeting addressed several key topic areas crucial for the future of the Army’s network, including:

- "As a Service” Approaches: Exploring the potential and implementation of network services provided as a service to enhance flexibility and scalability.

- Range Extension and Aerial Tier Networking: Discussing advancements in extending communication ranges and integrating aerial networking solutions.

- Mission Command Applications:. Enhancing the effectiveness and reliability of mission command systems and applications.

- Electromagnetic Spectrum Warfare: Addressing challenges and strategies in electromagnetic spectrum operations.

- Powering the Future Network: Focusing on innovative solutions for powering network infrastructures in diverse and demanding environments.

TEM 12 provided a platform for robust exchange of ideas and collaboration between military and industry experts, reinforcing the Army’s commitment to maintaining technological superiority through continuous innovation and strategic partnerships.
