Unite to help India save lives

Dear LinkedIn family,

Am sure you are all aware of India’s heart wrenching COVID crisis, now considered the world's worst outbreak. New daily cases remain well above the 300,000 mark, with dire predictions that this rate will continue for some time. This second deadly wave has touched all of us across India, including several within our Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) family. The 45 A&M employees who have had and/or are recovering from COVID-19, mirror the millions of Indians who have lost friends and family members. Individually and collectively we are facing hard decisions every single day.

Several hospitals are running out of oxygen, with patients dying due to shortages. Family members are driving from clinic to clinic, desperately searching for ICU beds for loved ones. Large cities have been hit hard but the crisis is now spreading to smaller towns and rural areas, where the healthcare infrastructure is poor to begin with.

To help the situation A&M has teamed up with GiveIndia, one of India’s largest and most trusted online donation platforms, to support their on-the-ground COVID-19 relief efforts in multiple pandemic hot spots across India.

Please consider making a donation to help us reach our goal of raising INR 3 crore / $400,000 by May 31.

All contributions will go directly towards helping to:

·       Boost the oxygen supply by providing concentrators and cylinders

·       Provide lifesaving equipment like Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAPs) and ventilators

·       Increase hospital ICU bed capacity
