Unit 6 Reflection
Alexander Orzech
Passionate Entrepreneur | Bring Ideas to life | Student at Naperville Central High School - CEO of Yooper Sticks
Looking back at this year to where I am today, I developed more than I thought was possible from a single class. At the beginning of this class my final goal was to pitch at the D203 final pitch night. While that goal was not met we were very close to achieving our final goal by always being in contention as a top team and placing 3rd in wild card votes at the finale.
The only thing I wish I did different this year was remember the key word for this class and that is "HUSTLE". The more you put into the class the more you get out of it, while I did put all my effort into our business I still wish I hustled our business even more. As well as that I would like to thank Ethan Jankowski Mark Janssen Francesca Zaura for a great year as the Baggin' Board team and all the effort we put into our company. On top of that a special thank you to Stacey Cohen-Fontechia for leading us in the right direction for our product to give us the best outcomes.
The biggest experience I take out of this class is that teamwork is crucial in the business world in order to succeed. With that being said our team held everyone accountable for carrying their weight in helping us succeed. While the class was tough at times, it helped me as a student recognize that the grass isn't always greener on the other side and not everything goes as smoothly as you plan.
Lastly, I am excited to announce next year I will be taking over the CEO role of Yooper Sticks. Special thanks to Sam Lendzion Tyler Ewoldt Josh Burner Brady Bechtel for letting your company keep growing as our new team takes over.
