WHITE DESERT
Speaking of the desert, let’s turn the temperature way down and head to Antarctica for a different kind of glamping experience. Enter White Desert, an ultra-luxury camp resort and adventure experience designed to take you to the “real Antarctica.” Guests can choose from three different sites to stay in — the polar pods of Whichway, the laidback sleeping tents of Wolf ’s Fang or the space-age pods of the Echo campsite, the newest addition to White Desert’s portfolio.
All three sites feature a communal lounge and come with their own types of adventures that travelers can do to unleash the explorer within, from hikes through ice caves, to abseiling rugged cliff sides, to arctic safaris. Rates for a week-long visit can cost anywhere between $14,500 to $104,000 per person, depending on the type of voyage and campsite you choose.
