Uninstall Wazuh Agent in 5 Easy Steps:

Step 01:

• Login to your system.

Step 02:

• Run the command sudo su and enter your password.

Step 03:

• Execute the command /var/ossec/bin/manage_agents

You will now see four options.

Select "L" to view a list of all installed agents and verify the ID of the agent you want to remove.

Step 04:

• Press "L" (uppercase) and hit Enter.

A list of all installed Wazuh agents will appear. Note down the ID of the agent you wish to remove.

For example, if you want to remove agent "032", proceed to the next step

Step 05:

• Press Enter again, and you will see the four options displayed.

Select "R" (uppercase), enter the agent's ID (e.g., "032"), and press Enter.

Confirm the removal by typing "y" and pressing Enter.

The Wazuh agent will be successfully removed. You can now verify the change on your Wazuh dashboard.
