FOLD IT. GLUE IT. LOVE IT.

Folding corrugated cartons precisely and efficiently is basically a question of creasing. Applying a creaser liquid is an effective way of improving the process not only quality-wise but also in terms of speed. Robatech, a Swiss manufacturer of adhesive application systems, will present such a system at drupa in Düsseldorf.

The PerfectFold liquid creaser is as brilliant as it is simple. The system automatically applies a unique softening fluid along the crease lines. This liquid quickly penetrates the corrugated board – without leaving visible traces or damaging the carton – reducing its stiffness.

The carton can then be folded precisely and with little force along the soft folding lines. Problems such as cracking of the cardboard, gap variance, and fishtailing are largely eliminated.

Corrugated cartons creased with PerfectFold deliver accurate inner and outer dimensions for precisely fitting inserts. Visitors to drupa in Düsseldorf can experience the PerfectFold system live in hall 12 at booth no. C10 and personally convince themselves of how it works and what effect it has.

Additional highlights at the booth are Robatech’s proven gluing solutions for the converting and graphic industry. The spectrum ranges from the Vivo 18 hot melt coating head for silicone release liners and tear strips to the Presto cold glue application head to produce paper bags or window envelopes. Interested parties can apply for a free entry ticket to the fair if they register at Robatech.
