A UNIFIED ROAD RESTORATION STANDARD FOR NSW

Today SOCC hosted the kick off meeting for developing a Unified Road Restoration Industry Standard for adoption by all Councils across NSW. The meeting was attended by representatives from IPWEA (representing Councils), TfNSW, Zinfra, Jemena, Natspec, City of Sydney, City of Canada Bay, Canterbury Bankstown City Council, and Telstra. A technical working group consisting of SOCC members was formed at this meeting to commence drafting the standard. It is expected that a draft will be produced and circulated for comment by December 2023. Any comments or queries in the interim can be emailed to [email protected].
