There is so much content floating around on the socials & the net right now.
This necessitates one to be selective & to exercise caution & wisdom in terms of what one pays attention to. Trying to ingest everything might leave you confused,bloated & in information overload.
Here are some thoughts on selecting which content to engage with;
1. Does this have any educational value?
2. Does this have anything to do with me? Does this information require my engagement? Sometimes minding your own business is the best thing you can do for your wellness.
3. Will this info make me feel better about my day? PS! When I’m totally exhausted, there is nothing like a Nollywood movie to get my mind off things. At times,it’s as easy as that...do I need this right now?
4. Will this info make me a better person
5. Is this the kind of information that I need?
6. Does this speak to my destiny and purpose in life?
7. Is this a subject matter of interest to me?
8. Is this pushing me towards my courage zone, crisis zone or comfort zone? Lean more toward stuff that makes you courageous!
9. Is this something that I can perhaps save and engage with later?
10. Is this information worth my time and energy! Is it worth consuming?
11. Does it have anything to do with me becoming better informed?
