An Unforgettable 2023

As winter's chill sets in and holiday excitement grows, it's a poignant time for reflection. Whether you're already on a break or counting down the days, this season is a universal signal to pause and ponder. For those with school-age children, their enthusiasm is a vivid reminder of the joy and anticipation this time of year brings.

For me, December is not just about reflection; it's also a time for preparation - both in my professional life and within my family. This period of introspection helps us stay grounded in gratitude, steering clear of regret, and looking forward to what lies ahead.

After more than 27 years of dedicated service, I retired from the US Air Force. This significant transition added unique dimensions to my journey, presenting both challenges and opportunities.

Filming season two of the History Channel's "Bermuda?Triangle: Into Cursed Waters," including an episode in Bermuda, was a highlight. Working with the on-camera talent and the crew behind the scenes provided some fantastic experiences and learning opportunities.?

A Year of Remarkable Achievements:

This year has been a whirlwind of memorable experiences for my family. Our travels took us to breathtaking destinations like Costa Rica, Mexico City, the Dominican Republic, Charlotte, and California - each trip a unique opportunity to bond, explore, and reconnect.?

As a keynote speaker, I collaborated with incredible organizations and associations across the nation, further enriching my experience in professional speaking and executive leadership coaching and consulting.

Year-End Strategic Planning and Growth:

In preparation for the coming year and to enhance my professional development, I attended an enriching 2.5 day Bootcamp and Masterclass. The Impact Eleven Bootcamp and Masterclass in Scottsdale was not just a learning experience; it was a convergence of minds and talents.?

We dove deep into the speaking industry, exploring cutting-edge techniques for brand-building and honing our storytelling skills.?It was an unparalleled professional development journey, offering insights and strategies from the very best in the field.?

This experience was not just about acquiring new skills; it was about being part of a vibrant community dedicated to excellence in our craft. The lessons learned and the connections made will undoubtedly be instrumental in our journey into 2024.

Reflecting on Community and Growth:

The Impact Eleven event reinforced the undeniable importance of community in professional growth. Being surrounded by such inspiring individuals emphasized the power of collective learning and empowerment.?
