Everybody is an Artist

?The words of conceptual artist Joseph Beuys have guided UNFINISHED across the board: from treating speakers as artists and artists as speakers, to bringing the stage to the ground or even putting you on the stage.

?This is why this year’s final conversation, hosted by gallerist? Jean-Kenta Gauthier ?and artist (+ UNFINISHED artistic director)?Capucine Gros?will precisely explore the channels between the (so-called) art world and (so-called) real world, to better process and anchor all of this year’s ideas and experiences into something we can all take home.

So in case you haven’t by now, you’ll soon realize you’re already an artist too.

Community by Rhythm

?Few understand this idea of building and binding a community through the international languages of art and music better than edutainer and inspirational troubadour? Jurgis Did?iulis . Jurgis will have the honors of closing the festival, and we’re so excited for his magical vibes to enchant our garden for real after two digital years (even if he was exceptionally skilled at making us sing long-distance!)

Other familiar voices that have made us shake our booties across the world these last years are sister and brother?Sarah?&?Saulo?Roston. Their musical performance will either make you melt or ignite across our house and promise to transform it into a multiroom dance floor flooded with Brazilian rhythm.

Context is Everything

?We have a confession to make. All these years, UNFINISHED has had an unsung hero who knows like no other about creating contexts for meaning through gathering.?Costin Gache?is not only the ingenious chef behind all our meals (which is already a challenge few would accept, considering we attempt to create family-style meals for thousands!). He is, most importantly, a creator of context.

With nearly two decades of experience bringing people together, Costin has nailed down the recipe for crafting authentic, unexpected and meaningful collective moments and will surprise us Saturday with a multi-sensorial experience, to close our afternoon conversations and kick off the evening’s aperitivo. He will also reveal to us his secret sauce.

A Journey through Wine

?Finally able to cheer in person, we’re beyond excited for wine & spirits expert? Marinela Ardelean ?to take us on a tour of Romania through one of its finest (and yet surprisingly underrated internationally) crafts: winemaking. Look out for? Wines of Romania ?during our Friday and Saturday meals, or join Marinela’s exclusive workshop to taste, drink, talk, and discover together a special grape selection for our UNFINISHED crowd. [All workshop sign-ups will open on September 26th.]

Where Shall We Begin?

While? Esther Perel ?can regretfully not attend UNFINISHED this year, the relationship therapist is sharing with us a few sets of her sold-out?game, designed from the adaptation of her philosophy into a small group interactive experience. The game, created to encompass relationships in the largest sense possible, is suitable for friends or lovers, just as well as coworkers or strangers.

To host such an experience, we called on the best experience designer we know:? Isabella Nardini , whom you surely know as our program co-curator and creator of?Love Is In The Cloud.
