Unfinished Business- My book of Short Stories Published!
My Book of Short Stories 'Unfinished Business' launched!
A journey that started two decades ago and a project that started during the Covid lockdown, Unfinished business is a collection of true life short stories in my life- An Auto fiction ensemble of twelve short stories that mirrors life’s sliding doors. This collection of short stories is not merely a mirror reflecting the myriad shades of my journey but also a window into the lives that all of us lead— each one interwoven with the threads of upbringing, kinship, ambition, and the quiet introspection of personal evolution.
The illustrations are carried out by my 12-year-old daughter, Tamaara Nambiar. These illustrations while drawing inspiration from the stories, gives a unique characterization that is simplistic in its hue and color, and uncluttered in its style.
?Incredibly humbled that Shashi Tharoor launched Unfinished Business in #thiruvananthapuram , #india. Thanks to literary luminaries K. jayakumar kumar & A.M. Basheer for being part of the launch. And to writer Paul Zacharia for the blurb.
?Massive gratitude to my father KUNHIKRISHNAN K for being a published author of 500+ books, articles and reviews and for having passed on an innate desire to keep reading (And now writing) and to my mother Ragini for allowing him to spend most of his income on books when we perhaps had many more wants in that stage of our lives!

?I can now proudly join the ranks within the family of published authors Lakshmi Nambiar & Tamaara! And thankful to have earned my own stripes in my own category!
?Thanks Sumita Dutta and Adisakrit Publishing for having accepted, edited and for having published my book.
?As you turn the pages, please be prepared to embark on many a journey that traverses the terrains of my life- My memory, the crossroads of my upbringing, my surroundings, and the intricate dance of my life's serendipities and synchronicities, all of which converge to the point where each story ends leaving you either surprised or wanting more. ?
My barter with you is, as Descartes puts it, “The reading of all good books is like a conversation with the finest minds of past centuries." I’ll assume that you have a fine mind to buy this good book, read it, travel my journey and drop a review online
