I began this unexpected journey in 2017. I wanted to share my experience and I do understand that everyone has a personal story.
This unexpected journey birthed pain, sleeplessness, not eating, anger, depression; questions. The ongoing thoughts of what my Mom was doing every minute of her day caused me to stress on many levels. I could not grasp on to knowing that her beautiful mind, body became burrowed out into peelings of deteriorated fading, lifeless life. That is how I seen things often during that time.
Alzheimer's is associated with genetics, lifestyle in addition to environmental factors that affect the brain cells. At the early stage of the dis-ease, forgetfulness and slight confusion is seen. Over time, recent memories start to?wipe?away. Advanced stage signs vary from person to person. Alzheimer’s disease is one form of Dementia.
Alzheimer's disease is the most common cause of Dementia; Dementia is not a standard part of aging. Dementia is caused by?damage to brain?cells?that affect their ability to communicate, and can affect thinking, behavior as well as feelings.

There are moments in life when grief, sadness and distress will bring you to broken parts of “self”, this will require complete all over healing. While struggling with this hurt, it is a signal that something within is out of balance and needs urgent care, and love. Emotional healing is a process.?During my Moms challenging dis-ease, I became angry, I could not do anything for her, and couldn’t be there for her, I was moody from all angles, didn’t eat, sleep, and communicate with people, often sad. I held anger within for various reasons. I am still learning to accept all the painful life experiences as well as the negative emotional impact caused from it and leaning on God to learn to SOAR in Him and to bring awareness to the Christian Community by asking for YOU to add this need in your Church Ministry and People in General to turn to God for wisdom, guidance and understanding.
Psalm 147:3He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wound.
