Unethical practices of Shri Ram General Insurance leading to loss in our business and struggle of 1.5 years still

I wanted to share my recent experience with Shri Ram General Insurance, where I've faced significant challenges while trying to convert our private car policy to a commercial taxi policy.

In January 2023, I converted my vehicle into a commercial taxi and reached out to Shri Ram General Insurance to update my policy accordingly. For 1.5 years, I've been attempting to resolve this issue, facing multiple hurdles. Every time I contacted customer care, I was directed to the Nagpur branch and provided with a number that was either switched off or unanswered.

Finally, after persistent efforts, I managed to get in touch with a representative named Sumit from the Nagpur branch. Prior to our call, Sumit had advised me via email to purchase a new policy, promising that the old policy amount would be refunded. During our call, I agreed to buy a new policy but requested a refund from January 2023, as I had been continuously trying to update my policy. Sumit mentioned he would discuss this with his management and loop me into the email chain.

However, on May 29, 2024, my follow-up call went unanswered. Sumit eventually called back on May 30, 2024, only to inform me that they couldn't help with my request and suggested I send an email instead. This was contrary to his previous assurance of looping me into the email conversation and resolving the issue. The conversation escalated into an argument, and Sumit ended up disconnecting the call repeatedly.

I am left frustrated and disheartened by this experience. Is this the level of service we pay for? Is this reflective of the training provided to employees by you Shri Ram General Insurance? How can you engage in such unlawful practices?

I am seeking answers and resolution for my 1.5 years of struggle and the business losses incurred due to this prolonged issue. Shri Ram General Insurance, your prompt response and action would be greatly appreciated.
