Trust and communication issues really come to the fore when one partner feels the other is not pulling their weight but is still getting the reward as if they did.

Profit Contribution concerns can easily spiral out of control and become the trigger that blow tyres and cripple businesses. The statistics of the failure rate of businesses are not pretty. ?

Director Contribution is not an easy area to manage since there can be so many factors involved: – different responsibilities in the business (e.g. business support compared to sales and delivery), different divisions serving different markets, changing roles, growing business etc.

So how then can issues of fair contribution be addressed when circumstances have changed and Directors are not in agreement?

You may be proved right but it will be costly. Lawyers are important advisors but I do not recommend them as your first port of call.
