HARD PART
It is indeed one of the hardest time for the people who are made redundant by their employer because of the lockdown and Covid-19 effect, not only this has been done but the employer who is recruiting currently has been offering below what the actual pay scale for the position some employer is taking advantage of this time and because of this whole corona effect they are trying to source cheap workforce who are ready to get employed for the ends meet
As a job seeker if you are unemployed, you need to understand and accept the fact that you are not the only one who is battling alone in this pandemic, first and the most important things is the cut down each and every unnecessary expense such as eating out, having hangouts, visiting unnecessary friends and colleagues that might incur expenses, all these small expenses might look very minute but these things can surely help a bit in your hunt for the new job especially if you have family
The Next Step Is to accept the reality that your previous jobs are over and now your new job is to find a job and for that proper planning needs to be done such as
- Early Wakeup Schedule
- Resume Moderation/Updating as per the Vacancy
- Set a target to Apply a number of Jobs daily
- Make yourself relax by doing any activities/Exercising
- Enhance your skill without spending any money
- Use of referencing and peer connection
All the above steps will enhance the chance of your employability.
ACCEPTING THE REALITY:
One of the most important things is to accept the lower-paying job as well in these tough time one need to understand things are not the same as it was before covid-19 and it is normal to accept the reduction of pay around of around 20% to 30% and you need to motivate yourself that this situation will not always be the same In future, accepting the less salary will surely going to increase chances of employability.
EMPLOYING THE BEST:
The employer needs to understand making your staff redundant just because of the covid-19 effect and not because of the actual position of the company will going to have a far greater adverse effect than the savings they are eyeing to be made from making employee redundant, this is actually a tunnel vision,
Stability Affect:
The ongoing situation will not remain the same as the number of affected cases are is now on the decreasing trend and the current situation will somehow normalize soon, however, things will take a long time before it is going to be like before until then everyone has to accept the covid-19 reality and need to live with it
