"Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown." (Henry IV, Part 2)
I have been blessed by the Grand Architect with opportunities to lead, and more so, opportunities to be molded into a better version of myself. For one who lead, he or she should also be a servant.
On 1 November, I was officially installed as Senior Stewart at Mount Moriah Lodge No. 116.
While this was an honor; all the more so, it was for I was installed on Past Masters’ Night.
I am incredibly appreciative to my brethren for giving me the chance, more especially for someone who has, in some of their eyes, a level of difference or risk. As a diverse lawyer with a disability, to be a positive force at lodge, this has a greater importance for I have the chance to evolve into a better version of myself and I also have the chance to do this while showing the power of partnerships.
Yet opportunity also has great responsibility. One to which I look forward; knowing I will benefit from the wisdom of a great craft of good men who can become better by standing together.
