Underwater Drain Outlet Investigation by Apache 5 System
Waterway and urban river water quality has been paid more and more attention. Rainwater pipes, urban sewage pipes, factory waste water pipes and even sewage outlets are affecting the water quality along rivers and rivers all the time. Because the water is turbid, the bank slope is complex, and the pumping and checking construction period is long, the cost is huge, the operability is low.
Apache 5 onboard scanning sonar is used for underwater sewage outlet screening due to high operating efficiency and basically free from sewage restrictions. With clear sonar images, it can be widely used for target screening of underwater rain water, urban sewage and factory waste water in Yangtze river, Yellow River, urban river and natural river. Apache 5 is a small and light automatic unmanned measuring vessel designed for inland lakes. The length is 1.6 meters, the weight is 10 Kg, and the standard 6-hour battery is equipped (it can be overmatched), which greatly facilitates the installation and inspection work.

2. Apache 5 introduction
The unmanned boat integrates positioning and wireless transmission, allowing the boat to travel automatically according to the plan line, and the personnel only need to receive data on the shore, without the need for personnel to work on the water, so as to realize the real unmanned work on the water. Apache 5 unmanned surveying vessel has a lightweight hull with a self-weight of 10 KG, which is convenient for transportation and launching operations. The built-in single-beam sounder in the hull of unmanned vessel combined with GNSS RTK positioning can obtain real-time underwater elevation data. The design of the external motor balances the power and conversion efficiency, and the power efficiency is applied more widely. In order to avoid the easy collision of the external motor and the entanglement of underwater fishing net, the intimate design of anti-collision bar and pressure net bar is specially added.

Application Case
Bathymetry is the basic means of channel survey and river bottom topographic survey. The purpose of underwater topographic survey is achieved through bathymetry and GNSS receiver positioning. Underwater topographic maps can provide basic data and maps for shipping traffic, construction of ports and docks, construction of water conservancy facilities and construction of roads and Bridges.
Unmanned boat Application Background
The common way of underwater topographic survey is to collect and measure the data with a single beam sounder. And the disadvantages of some ship also gradually appeared in the application, if someone is difficult to ship in a straight line directly it will affect the efficiency and quality of data (as shown in figure 2.2), and loaning ships need to contact in advance, then it needs to install the equipment. All need to spend a lot of time and a certain fee. Besides, when in the shallow water area, we can not adopt some measure with those ships and so on.

4. Softwares
Deepvision side scanning sonar is equipped with Deepview 4.1 sonar data acquisition and post-processing playback software, which is divided into left file index column, upper menu bar, middle sonar image display, and lower map display. The software can obtain GPGGA location information according to the external GNSS positioning device, bind sonar image with positioning data, and provide location information for target interpretation.
