The Spiritual Currency of Ritual Killing and the Power of the Blood of Jesus
The reality of ritual killings is a grim truth that many choose to ignore. In the spirit realm, the primary currency is human blood and human body parts, whether fresh or dried. This is why demonic agents and practitioners of dark arts seek human sacrifices, as they believe that such offerings grant them power, wealth, and influence. However, as believers, we must be aware of this dark reality and understand how to protect ourselves spiritually. The Bible reminds us that our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).
The Currency of the Spirit Realm
From ancient times, blood has played a crucial role in spiritual transactions. Satanic covenants, occultic initiations, and demonic empowerment often require the shedding of human blood. This is because blood represents life (Leviticus 17:11), and in the unseen world, it holds power. When individuals are ritually killed, their blood is used as an offering to demonic entities, further strengthening the control of darkness over the earth.
However, there is a superior blood that nullifies and overrides the power of human sacrifices—the blood of Jesus Christ. When He died on the cross, His blood became the ultimate atonement, the only acceptable spiritual currency in the kingdom of God. This is why those who are true children of God can plead the blood of Jesus and partake in the Holy Communion, drinking His blood symbolically. His blood redeems, sanctifies, and delivers.
Faith: A Key Weapon in Spiritual Battles
You need faith to fight in the spiritual realm. Only if you have faith as little as a mustard seed, you can move mountains (Matthew 17:20). The mountains represent the problems you are facing and do not understand. Job states that every person born of a woman is full of trouble and of few days (Job 14:1). Being in Christ does not immunize you from problems, but when you go through them, you know you have a defender. It is for His glory, when others see what He has done for you, they may desire to know Him. The fruits of the Spirit are important in sustaining one's faith and walk with God (Galatians 5:22-23).
Spiritual Blindness and Ignorance: The Enemy’s Tool
The Bible asks, “Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?” (Isaiah 49:24). The next verse provides the answer: “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered” (Isaiah 49:25). This means that those who have been captured spiritually, whether through demonic initiations, ancestral curses, or ritualistic killings, can be set free.
It is dangerous to be ignorant of these spiritual truths. The enemy thrives on deception and ignorance. Many people unknowingly expose themselves to spiritual attacks by living in sin, indulging in idolatry, or engaging with witch doctors and herbalists. That is why some people keep snakes, are marked on their bodies, or wear all kinds of charms to protect themselves. Others consult herbalists who call their names, leading to unexplained sicknesses. The hospital machines indicate that they are fine, but they themselves know that all is not well. If you are neither a child of God nor a child of Satan, then you are being used by the agents of Satan due to your ignorance.
The police only come and investigate after you are dead. It is better to be safe than to die prematurely, to be sickly, mad, or to live in confusion, not understanding what is happening to you, because the strongman, strongwoman, and the ancestors are really dealing with you.
The Danger of Prayerlessness
One of the greatest weapons the believer has is prayer. Without it, individuals leave themselves vulnerable to spiritual robbers who seek to steal destinies, cause madness, or render a person useless to their generation while enriching themselves. A prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian, an easy target for the enemy. Luke 1:74-75 reminds us of our divine calling:
“That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.”
Complete Repentance: The Path to Restoration
The only way to break free from the grip of darkness is through complete repentance and a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. Many people are spiritually bound because of sins committed either by themselves or by their ancestors. True repentance restores the authority of the believer and enables them to fight back effectively. The moment you align yourself with Christ, the blood of Jesus becomes your defense against all demonic attacks.
Revelation 12:11 states, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” This scripture emphasizes that the blood of Jesus is our ultimate weapon against the enemy.
Understanding the Seen and the Unseen World
Many people live their lives only acknowledging what they can see with their physical eyes. However, the unseen realm is just as real, if not more so, than the visible world. Ritual killings, spiritual sacrifices, and demonic covenants exist and are actively shaping world events. The Bible makes it clear that Satan is the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4), and unless one is covered by the blood of Jesus, they remain vulnerable to his schemes.
Jesus Himself declared in John 14:30, "The prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me." This means that Jesus had no sin, no foothold for the enemy to claim over Him. As believers, we must strive to live righteous lives so that the enemy finds nothing in us as well.
Conclusion: Choose Righteousness and Stay Vigilant
As children of God, we must remain righteous and in good standing with Christ. We must stay vigilant, live holy lives, and engage in fervent prayer to counteract the works of darkness. The battle is real, but victory is assured for those who remain steadfast in their faith. The blood of Jesus is our ultimate protection and currency in the spiritual realm. Let us use it, live righteously, and break free from the chains of ignorance and spiritual oppression.
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). Do not be one of them. Seek Christ, walk in righteousness, and stay covered under the power of His blood.
