In 2024, there are significant changes to Medicare coverage we need to highlight. Firstly, there has been a noteworthy expansion in telehealth services, a response to the growing need for remote healthcare due to recent global events. This means beneficiaries can now access a wider range of healthcare services from the comfort of their homes. Secondly, the income-related monthly adjustment amounts (IRMAA) for Medicare Part B and D have been revised, potentially impacting high-income beneficiaries. Lastly, the coverage has been extended to include more preventive services and screenings, emphasizing Medicare's shift towards a more preventative approach to healthcare.
