18.7 percent of Americans are now on Medicare.?Our office will often hear from people who do not understand their benefits or are disappointed in their benefits because of lack of coverage. Medicare can be complicated for most people and we are going to explore why.?
Every year, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) establishes new service rules and guidelines. 2024 is no exception. In 2024, there are significant changes to Medicare coverage we need to highlight. Firstly, there has been a noteworthy expansion in telehealth services, a response to the growing need for remote healthcare due to recent global events. This means beneficiaries can now access a wider range of healthcare services from the comfort of their homes. Secondly, the income-related monthly adjustment amounts (IRMAA) for Medicare Part B and D have been revised, potentially impacting high-income beneficiaries. Lastly, the coverage has been extended to include more preventive services and screenings, emphasizing Medicare's shift towards a more preventative approach to healthcare.
Join us on the "The See Differently Project" to explore those new guidelines along with our esteemed guest Helen Ornellas, Founder and CEO of Ornellas & Associates Insurance and Host of the popular On Life With Helen Podcast.?
