Understanding Me

Shut up and don't complain, it's your lot to suffer through the pain.

Your thoughts and emotions have no place, there is no room to give them space.

It's too overwhelming to bring them to light. I don't think I can handle such a fight.

Keep pushing forward there is no time to rest. Just show the world your bravest best.

The time is now to let go of this weight. To bring peace and healing by not taking the bait.

Make room for all of the parts of you. It will be much easier to allow them to move on through.

No setting aside, no skipping ahead. There are no monsters under the bed.

Take a good hard look and tell me what you see. It's just me, setting myself free.
