Understanding The Last Days
The signs are everywhere that we are living in the last of the last days. Biblical prophecy is being fulfilled so rapidly now that it is hard to keep up. Every aspect of society, world-wide, is on the verge of collapse. The weather has gone crazy and is like nothing we have ever seen. There are fires, floods, droughts, tornadoes, hurricanes, hailstorms, the likes of which have never before occurred. Volcanic eruptions are everywhere, and earthquakes are excellerating in size and numbers. Economies around the world are either falling apart, or in very difficult straights, and people are suffering as a result. Wars and rumors of wars are an everyday occurance now. New diseases are on the rise and many are becoming immune to antibiotics. The crime rate is increasing and it seems like people no longer have a conscience or remorse. Parents are killing their children, and children are killing their parents. Our food and water are corrupted with chemicals that make us sick, and governments are dumping more chemicals and nano particles on us with chemtrails, that are destroying the environment. The push is on for a world government, and the US is the only thing standing in the way. There is even a strong movement toward a one-world economy and a one-world religion.
All of the above signs were prophesied in the bible to occur when we are in the last of the last days, and they are all converging at the same time for the first time ever. God has clearly laid out a plan for these days, but most are oblivious to everything that is going on. God is getting ready to judge the nations, called the ¨Tribulation¨. It will last for 7 years and during that time most of the people on earth will die or be killed. It will end with the battle of Armageddon, and the return or Jesus Christ to set up His kingdom in Jerusalem. I know that this sounds bad and I am not a doom and gloomer. This is all true, and there is some good news that is also true. Before God judges the nations, He is going to remove all born-again Christians from the earth, in an event called the ¨Rapture¨. All of the signs indicate that we are very close to that event happening. The real good news is that you don′t have to be here during the Tribulation. Jesus died on a cross some 2000 years ago. He did that to pay for our sin and to purchase a place in heaven for us that he offers to us as a free gift. ¨For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life¨. (Ro.6:23) You can receive that gift by recognizing the sacrifice the He made for you, confessing your sin, and asking Him to forgive your sin, be your Savior, and to make you the kind of person that He wants you to be. There is no other way to avoid the judgement that is coming. Jesus said, ¨I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father but by me.¨ (John 14:6)
