Inspiration has been defined as being exultant and divine. It is a curious thing but also, it is part of an ordinary life. You do not have to expend any effort on your part for it to come to you. Your actions can also influence it.
It is defined as a sudden and mental stimulation. When you are taking a shower, an idea will pop into your head. You see something out of your car window and you are triggered for a new invention or even different career.

Inspiration can brighten your life and create strategies to enjoy more aha moments.
- Your behaviour changes. If you have high amounts of inspiration, it has been shown that you will have more compelling goals and you will make more progress to realize them. This is another reason to keep challenging yourself.
- Your engagement increases. When you are inspired, your to do list transforms from things you have to do to things that you really want to do. You have more purpose in your life.
- Greater happiness. You can be excited about Mondays and even doing laundry when inspired. You are woken up to daily life's beauty.
Building your self-esteem. Associated with inspiration are certain personality traits. It is essential to have a healthy self-image where you accept and appreciate yourself as you are.
- Thinking positively. Focus on those things you can control and look on the bright side. Being optimistic helps. If you feel anxious, take a break from watching the nightly news
- Cultivating gratitude. It is powerful to be thankful. Use a journal to remind yourself of your blessings in life. You should also let other people know that they do make a difference in your life.
- Be spontaneous. Did you do something on the spur of the moment? When? Routines need to be shaken up. Go on a picnic at lunch or play in the backyard with your children.
- Take care of your needs. You will have a better feeling about yourself when you stay fit, eat a healthy diet and exercise regularly. Try for 7 to 8 hours of sleep every night and mange your stress. Take breaks during the day when you feel tired.
- Have role models. You should surround yourself with people who are passionate about what they are doing. Their enthusiasm is contagious.
- Keep learning. Become a lifelong learner. Read books and listen to audio files on many different topics. Continuously add to your knowledge and your skills.
- Try something new. You can overcome any fears and think more flexibly when you explore unfamiliar territory. Instead of going on your usual bike ride, go to an exercise class. Volunteer at a food bank or animal shelter.
- Do something artistic. Schedule time every day for doing something creative. You can work on your hobbies or start a craft project. Get ideas from magazines or visiting art supply stores.
- Be patient. It can be a long time between dramatic flashes and profound insights. You can be successful with gradual improvements and developments.
- Take action. It is possible to speed up the success process by taking a first step while you wait for inspiration to strike. Work in your garden or pick up a paint brush if you are low on energy. This can give you the momentum to continue.
- Limit your competition. You can be inspired by many things but try not to compare yourself to others. You may experience more inspiration by being less competitive. Enjoy what you are doing and keep learning from the experiences instead of trying to impress others.
Be open to more of life's possibilities. You will accomplish great things and have more fun when you are feeling inspired.
