What are your responsibilities as a Person of Trust at Lidl???
As a Person of Trust, I'm here for our employees whenever they need someone to talk to, especially regarding personal matters and anything related to mental health. From concerns about parental leave to handling conflicts and stressful situations, I aim to provide guidance. Rather than offering specific instructions or solutions, I usually encourage employees to explore their perspectives and find solutions that work best for them. Beyond that I am the ear that listens inside the company. In this way, I notice where things are not running as smoothly as possible in the organization and which topics need attention and improvement. This feedback is very valuable so that the working environment for employees can be continuously improved.???
What tips do you have to manage stress effectively?????
Managing stress effectively involves finding ways to unwind and take breaks from stressful situations. Engaging in activities like sports, hobbies, or simply enjoying a good book can help in disconnecting from stressful thoughts.??
Additionally, effective communication plays a pivotal role in reducing stress. Many conflicts arise from misunderstandings, so providing different perspectives and fostering open dialogue can help clarify issues before they escalate. Engaging in discussions empowers individuals, and as a Person of Trust, I advocate for proactive communication to manage stress and prevent it from becoming overwhelming. Lastly, a balanced diet, regular exercise as well as restful sleep are crucial components of stress management.??

What is your opinion on the impact of stress today????
Stress affects individuals differently, and its impact varies from person to person. What may be stressful for one person might not be for another. It's important to recognize our stress triggers and find healthy ways to manage them. There's no one-size-fits-all solution but understanding our stressors and learning to cope with them in a relaxed manner is key. Ultimately, adopting healthy coping mechanisms is crucial to long-term stress prevention.???
Is there a difference between healthy and unhealthy stress????
Stress can be beneficial in certain situations, such as when it motivates us to perform at our best. However, when stress becomes chronic or overwhelming, it can have detrimental effects on our well-being. Taking breaks and allowing ourselves time to recharge is essential to avoid burnout and maintain a healthy balance.???
How do you prevent stress in your personal life???
For me, prioritizing "Me Time" is essential. Even with a busy schedule, I ensure I have moments to unwind and recharge. Knitting is one of my favorite ways to relax and fully immerse myself in the present. I also enjoy jogging and sewing, which help me clear my mind and rejuvenate myself.
