In the dynamic world of social media, understanding how platforms like LinkedIn evaluate and distribute posts can significantly enhance your content strategy. Here’s a concise breakdown of LinkedIn’s post-evaluation process and how it impacts the reach of your content.
1. Initial Quality Assessment
LinkedIn begins by categorizing posts into three distinct categories:
????????: Content that is irrelevant or potentially harmful.
?????? ??????????????: Posts that lack engagement potential or relevance.
???????? ??????????????:?Engaging, relevant content with a high potential for user interaction.
2. Algorithmic Evaluation
Once a post passes the initial quality check, LinkedIn's algorithm evaluates several factors:
?????????????? ??????????????????: Are the hashtags used pertinent to the content?
?????????????? ??????????: What types of keywords are incorporated, and how relevant are they?
??????????: Does the post contain external links or links native to LinkedIn?
?????????? ??????????????????????: Are there any images, videos, or documents attached?
3. Distribution Strategy
After the evaluation, LinkedIn determines the post’s initial distribution:
The post is first shown to 1st-degree connections whose industry or job titles match the used keywords.
The post may be classified as spam if it does not receive initial engagement (likes, comments, or shares).
4. Engagement and Further Distribution
If people click the "See More" option on the post, it signals LinkedIn that the content is engaging. Consequently, the post is distributed to 2nd and 3rd-degree connections, further amplifying its reach.
