Understanding the Comfort Zone

We've all heard it before, "you have to go outside your comfort zone to succeed"

It's true, but I've come to realise that we have this strange understanding of "going outside your comfort zone"

We somehow think of it as some great big step. We picture it as a life-altering big decision followed by some monumental action...

But it isn't...

It's a series of small decisions followed by small actions that add up to a life-changing season in our lives. 

It might all sound underwhelming but it's the truth. Making a decision to step outside of our comfort zones in order to change our lives, starts with one simple idea and it is followed by a series of small actions that result in you finally creating the lifestyle that you want for yourself.

It starts with the decision to be honest with yourself. You want more for your life and it's okay. Granted, some people will think you're crazy or out of your depth, but it's the crazy people who do what makes them happy and they end up achieving everything that they wanted for themselves. 

Then, the next step will unfold in front of you and it could something as simple as sending an email or replying to it. Then the next step will reveal itself to you, then the next, then the next and the next... You'll be surprised at how things start to unfold once you FINALLY make the decision to go after what you want (trust me, I've seen this happen to a number of my clients). 

When we overthink things or when we add fear to the equation, we tend to make things more complicated than they should be. 

Changing your life (earning more money, becoming a speaker, building your brand as a professional, starting that business or even working from home) starts with a decision to make a change and go after the things that you truly want. 

The path to success will reveal itself to you when you make the decision to go after it. It all starts with a confident decision to go after your success.
