In my 7 and a half years of being a creative entrepreneur and community leader, I have met many aspiring creatives who are amazing at conceptualising creative ideas but struggle with manifesting them. This can be infuriating because without being able create tangible manifestations of your ideas you will struggle to demonstrate your thoughts, qualities and talents to the world. I wanted to write this article to provide a practical framework that can aid your process of turning your ideas into reality.
Let's start by defining the keyword here 'Manifestation'. According to the Oxford dictionary this word means - an event, action, or object that clearly shows or?embodies?something abstract or theoretical.
Now let's outline the process of manifesting Greatness:
- The Seed - The Idea/Concept - Every creative masterpiece begins with an idea, a concept or thought. Make sure you write it down as soon as that light bulb moment occurs.
- Planting the Seed - The Action(s) - Once your idea is on paper you must take action, in most cases multiple actions. It usually starts with a simple plan. List all the actions you will need to take in order make your idea a reality. Depending on the idea, this may include steps such as creating a logo, creating a brand identity, registering a business, contacting freelancers, purchasing a creative software, making a social media page and much more. Try to be as specific as possible with each task and set realistic deadlines for each task.
- Nurturing the Seed - Providing the fertile conditions for the Idea/Concept to grow - Whilst you are planting the seeds of your idea you need to ensure that you are working in an environment that can best facilitate your growth. This can include cutting off certain toxic relationships, attending spaces and events that will inspire you and allow you to network. Also things such as reading books, watching relevant tutorials, documentaries and interviews. This is an essential part of the process as many people don't pass the previous phase because they fail to feed their mind the right nutrients required to see their plan through to the end.
- Harvesting the Fruit - Patiently waiting for the results of the Idea/Concept to harvest - Once you have completed all the tasks/actions you must remember that sometimes the results/fruits of your labour may manifest months later. This could be an art curator reaching out to exhibit your work or a potential investor or brand reaching out to you. You must be patient but don't be afraid to start working on your next idea in the meantime. Don't rest on your laurels as momentum is key. Start the process again with a new idea, especially if it's under the same brand or in a similar vein to your existing work.
I can honestly say that following this process and repeating it consistently under the brand of GUAP is how we have manifested a forrest of trees blossoming beautiful fruits that feed me, my friends and my family till this day. Please also bear in mind that this process also works with negative thoughts and ideas too. If you have destructive ideas, you follow them up with negative actions and surround yourself with negative people, content and show up in negative spaces, you will manifest pain and destruction in your life. Please be conscious of this and take control of the results that manifest on your journey.
I hope this has helped, please share with someone you think could find this useful. Wishing you all the best of luck on your journey and I hope you manifest something great.

8 个月I think this is great advice. Thank you for your seed to tree imagery. I love it so much also because of the fact that so much can come from just one tiny seed/idea. Now that you have a business, what technical processes would you say align with this? I ask because for the longest time, I was a creative constantly worried about how I'd make ends meet and wondering how to bring my ideas into fruition -- especially concerned with being taken seriously in the business world. It makes me think of project management process groups. Do you find the process you outlined aligning with business terminology at all?
