Hey LinkedIn fam! ??
Continuing with my "Learning in Public" journey on AWS Cloud, today I’m exploring Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC). Here’s a quick rundown:
Amazon VPC:
Imagine the millions of customers and resources on AWS without boundaries—network traffic would flow unrestricted! Amazon VPC helps establish those critical boundaries:
- Provision an isolated section of the AWS Cloud.
- Launch resources in a virtual network that you define.
- Organize resources into subnets within the VPC. A subnet is a section of a VPC containing resources like Amazon EC2 instances.
Internet Gateway:
To allow public traffic from the internet to access your VPC, attach an internet gateway:
- Internet Gateway is a connection between a VPC and the internet.
- Think of it like a doorway for customers to enter a coffee shop—without it, no one can access your VPC resources.
By setting up a VPC, you ensure secure, organized, and efficient management of your AWS resources. ????
Your feedback and experiences are always welcome! Drop your thoughts below and let’s continue learning together. ??
