Understand what the employer wants---

Jump to submit your application, and then doing a blind follow up often show case a candidate to be either over confident or confused. Once you go through a post, few of the activities which you should immediately proceed before you submit your application and they are as follows :

1. Google the company for which you want to apply or you have seen the ad of that organization .
2. Understand the product lines and the industry the organization is catering to .
3. Analyze your key performance areas and see for which areas are you responsible to deliver in your present role.
4. If you have the email id or the number kindly ask for the job brief if not mentioned in the job post.
5. If certain words are not familiar , get the meaning and then search

When you try to apply for anything and everything you reduce the value of your application . Only mention those areas which you have experienced in your present and previous roles and not what you have seen in a resume proforma, simply copy and pasting of words mentioned in a resume format .

Applicants find it very easy to make the recruiter responsible for rejecting them, but the main reasons can be anything which address to no shortlisting of the resume .

Every organization , industry wise defines each role differently as per their need and the tasks involved .So your search should be crisp, prominent, and precise . Understand your present role , analyze with the job brief of the post, and then apply. It would not only keep a clarity but also save a lot of time and energy.
