Uncovering mass surveillance is starting to look like a viable Social Media Strategy
The US government contractor who leaked thousands of NSA official documents has officially joined twitter last Tuesday.
The first tweet showed the cheeky side of him..
Within the small period of time Edward Snowden has attracted more than 1 million followers and a verified Twitter account in less than a day. Not so surprisingly, he is following only one Twitter handle which is non other than his ex-employer NSA itself and has more followers alone than NSA twitter handle. Wow! what a come back. :)
He also tweeted: "Uncovering mass surveillance is starting to look like a viable social media strategy." after seeing the overwhelming response he received after joining Twitter.
Soon, twitter jumped in and posted world wide mentions of the conversations tracing to Snowden's joining.

Messages of support were flooded including the Twitter co founder Jack Dorsey who also welcomed "Yes! Welcome to Twitter."
