If you spend any time opening cabinets, drawers, toolboxes, and peeking behind locked doors in your facilities, you’re likely to find someone’s private stash of parts, both new and used. This is a common issue in many warehouses, and it's often overlooked by management. When starting a maintenance best practices or storeroom improvement program, one of the first steps is to gather all these hidden parts and materials and return them to the storeroom. There’s a lot of money tied up in these “hidden” stockrooms! ??
