UNCONSCIONABLE POLICE BEHAVIOUR
We pass no comment on the mask issue as Police did not make this rule, they are, however, required to enforce it.
The perpetrator admitted not supplying her name and address, and the video shows resistance so no issue with the arrest.
The only issue we saw was the inordinate amount of time it took to effect the arrest given available resources.
What we saw on that video was grossly disturbing.

4 年A few valid points raised in your summary! Certainly worth a check by Ethical Standards. The reality is that an arrest needs to be swift. Once that decision is made it needs to be uncompromising, proportionate and as safe as possible for both sides. If an offsider is standing off as described then there are certainly some concerns to address.

4 年Here here Ivan. Well said. A sad indication of some of the snowflakes emerging from the Academy.
I agree, that women’s behaviour was grossly disturbing. Also when the available policewomen, (available resource) attempted to assist she was viciously kicked.
