Uncompromised Growth News: January Newsletter ??
The gatekeepers.
They’re big, they’re bad, and they won't let your email near the decision-maker.
But of all the contract blockers, who's the hardest to surpass of them all?
Nobody other than the sales reps themselves!
They know your tactics. They know your strategy.
There isn't anything getting past them.?
So naturally, we asked a couple of sales reps from Belkins if they’ve ever been ‘blown away’ by a sales email to the point they just had to say yes…
Whether it was because of the offer, the template, the copy, or the way the email was personalized to them… they shared their insight below.
What's the BEST sales email you’ve ever received and why?
Brian Hicks , VP of Sales, Belkins
Years in Sales: 20 years
Best Sales Email:?
The best cold e-mail I’ve received was from someone that sent me an ICP sample for my business that they thought would work after researching my company but never speaking with me and they hit the nail right on the head!
I say “yes” to messages that are short, to the point, and relevant. The best way to get a “yes” from me is if “you show me that you know me”!
Mary Sewuese , Sales Executive, Belkins
Years in Sales: 6
Best Sales Email:
I don’t think there was necessarily the best email, but something that caught my attention was from a few years ago asking for a collaboration. It was short and to the point. In just a few words, she showed she knew exactly what I cared about by calling out a pain point and I saw she took the time to research. I also replied because the call to action demanded very little of me.?
With that polls have been tallied. Cold emails are in–even sharks agree.
