In uncertain times, how to keep moving forward ??

Catalyzing Powerful Career Moves for Accomplished Women in Leadership www.bossmakeher.com
Today, as my tweens would say, just hits different.
With all that's happening in the world—a new president, the ceasefire, the wildfires that rage, and brutal winter conditions for others... there’s a lot to process.
As we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. today, I'm reminded of his remarkable ability to inspire hope and encourage us to stay resilient even in the face of unprecedented challenges.
There’s one quote by Dr. King that has always been my guiding light in life, my North Star, helping me keep going even when things were dark or unclear:
Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase.
His words remind me not just to stay hopeful but to keep moving forward, even when things are uncertain and perhaps even risky. I
know juggling one challenge after another while trying to reach our goals feels like too much at times. As women who are natural leaders and doers, losing control of certain aspects of our lives can be overwhelming...and/or paralyzing.
So I'm here to remind you to reflect and remember that when you embrace that blend of hope and action—just like Dr. King encouraged—and take even the smallest steps, you can navigate through the chaos, and we can keep moving forward together.
Let me share a story that I hope inspires you to do just that:
?? "I was burnt out, emotionally drained, and questioning everything. The weight of it all—work, family, the state of the world—was unbearable. Joining BossmakeHer wasn’t about a career change for me; it was about finding me again. Through mental health resources, coaching, and an incredible support system, I rebuilt myself. I can finally say I feel in control again—not of everything around me, but of how I react to it. And that’s been life-changing." — Amanda J.
Amanda’s story is a reminder that sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is take a step.
As we honor MLK Day and embrace this moment of transition, I also want you to embrace this truth: you are not alone in this journey.
