unbubble.co ’s packaging has the twin goal of not only ensuring product safety during shipping but also promoting responsible production, consumption, and waste management. Their packaging dissolves completely in water upon disposal, leaving no harmful residue and being safe for pets and wildlife if accidentally ingested. Founder's Vision and Journey

Growing up in Jewar as the son of a farmer, Akash, the founder of unbubble.co , developed a deep understanding of the close relationship between the environment and local communities. Over the past eight years, he has dedicated himself to creating innovative products that address climate change while empowering underserved communities. Some of his notable innovations include the Wind Harnessing Machine, which generates energy from moving public vehicles; the Smart Irrigation Sprinkler, which regulates crop water usage; and the Self-Power Generating Walking Stick, which assists physically challenged and elderly individuals while generating energy. These efforts have been recognized distinguished organisations like AIM NITI Aayog, Ashoka Innovators for Public, and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.?

Before this initiative, Akash was focused on addressing waste management challenges through his startup Energinee Innovations. Here, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, the United Nations V Awards, and several other esteemed organizations recognized his work here. Innovative Technology for a Sustainable Tomorrow?

unbubble.co employs advanced extrusion technology to address two major issues: managing agricultural waste and replacing plastic-based protective packaging. They convert locally sourced corn and crop stubble into a material known as "git," which is then made into pellets. These pellets are transformed into sustainable, plant-based packaging peanuts at a cost approximately 1/10th that of traditional packaging in the US and Europe. Through their technology, unbubble.co is creating materials that put the planet first.?

• Eco-Friendly Packaging Solutions: Their primary focus is on developing plant-based, sustainable protective packaging materials. Made from locally sourced crops and agricultural waste, their packaging replaces traditional pollutants like plastic, foam, and bubble wrap. These solutions help reduce global plastic waste, minimize energy consumption, and lower greenhouse gas emissions.?

• Sourcing Raw Materials Sustainably: The company collaborates with farmers to source raw materials such as corn, wheat, husk, and other agricultural waste. In addition to supporting sustainable agricultural practices, this partnership provides farmers with a new income stream.?

• Empowering Waste Pickers: unbubble.co actively engages waste pickers in collecting agricultural waste, offering them safer working conditions and a new income source. This initiative improves their working conditions while contributing to waste management and upcycling efforts.

Support and Recognition

Unbubble is currently incubated at AIC Synapses and has received backing from the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme to validate their pilots with customers and achieve a product-market fit.
