Unbribable gratitude

Unbribable gratitude

By Pablo Lobo

Assembling a competent, efficient, united, and committed team is not an easy task. No team... football, any sport, a study team from our high school days (remember?), a symphony orchestra, a rock band, a scientific research team, any team. Building a team is not easy. And whoever needs to do this – because we can't do great things alone – knows that they will sometimes be disappointed, they will be confused by a member or another who, suddenly, appears to be out of tune with the group. It happens.

Every team that grows with a strong identity ends up gaining a character that we identify from afar. Today, Sthorn is like that. To me, it looks like those fortresses from the Middle Ages, but defending principles, visions, utopias, defending more beautiful futures and stories for a planet so exaggeratedly beautiful and lonely, there is no one around, but there are so many of us. On Orion's arm? Nobody. In Laniakea? Nobody…

Every corner I look, within the Sthorm territory, I see guardians, with their refined specific knowledge, enhanced by their own passion focused on what they believe in, always something big, far from personal, passionate interests. I see a fine-tuned team that stubbornly, unbearably shares the same certainty that we can do so much more for this rare world.

Sapiens, a brilliant species that ended up dominating this planet with its intelligence, today deployed in disciplines that we also invented in the last thousands of years: medicine, mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, philosophy, many arts, engineering, all in some way under the control of someone within our Sthorm team.

A team like this doesn't happen by chance. For our future, I hope that we all maintain the unshakable courage to always stay true to the principles that brought us together: Respect for the Planet and its creatures and equity. May the certainty of unlimited coexistence between all of us, in a world without imaginary lines, guide our will to stay together.

May liberation be the verb of our work.

And may our gratitude for the opportunity to exist surrounded by purpose and meaning never end.

My gratitude for being able to write this is immense, my debt to luck is of a size that cannot be described, measured by any known mechanism. Those still without a face will come to the surface.

Thank you very much to the entire team. It is a great honor to fight alongside all of you.

Sthormers decided to be like this, silent, subtle, unanimous, incorruptible, noisy, chaotic, like the storm and the greatest truths of science, spread throughout the observable universe and its unbelievable diameter of 93 billion light years.

See you in another future, mate.
