The unbelievable always comes as a surprise!

It gives me immense pleasure to announce that I have been promoted to the ‘Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant’ role in CloudGo. I feel truly honored to have this opportunity extended to me by Team CloudGo.

?

I am thankful to the management team of CloudGo – Swati Gupta, Rory Fitzpatrick, and Rahul Garg for believing in me in the first place when I was selected as a Talent Acquisition Consultant back in March 2021. From then to now, the journey has been that of ups and downs in my path and the feat was only a distant dream that wouldn’t possibly have come into reality if it wouldn’t have been for the support of the Management Team and the Technical Team of CloudGo have extended to me.

?

The time when I joined CloudGo, was the first time I heard of ServiceNow and I was unacquainted with the technology. The team knew my lack of knowledge in this domain; however, they gave me a chance, and that proved to be an opportunity for a lifetime for me. I began as a new entrant to this domain and six or maybe seven months down the line, being promoted to the ‘Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant’ role is something more than what I had expected from the organisation.

?

However, this journey wasn’t easy at all… There were challenges such as starting from scratch in knowing the technology, reaching out to the team for guidance, moreover, if that wasn’t enough I, along with my wife and daughter, were tested Covid positive, since then the health issues of me and my family taking its toll on my performance, were a few amongst the other challenges that I had to deal with.

?

Having said that, I would like to emphasise that I was fortunate enough to work with a team that has gone to any extent under their capacity to help me, support me and my family, and the team that not only cared for me but also stood rock-solid, like a lighthouse on the seashores guiding the way to the struggling ship.

?

Swati Gupta, the amazing People Manager that you are, it always feels great to work with a manager like you. I never felt the manager-subordinate relation while working with you, rather it felt more like one team striving to achieve the common organizational goals.

?

Rory Fitzpatrick, I thank you for all the insightful weekly calls you are conducting every Monday, which I feel is a great way to kick off the week. You are one amazing leader that I have ever worked with.

?

Rahul Garg, I would take the liberty to be a bit honest, and I know I can do that believing in the kind of bond we share now as a team and should admit here, that I was a bit hesitant in speaking to you openly. If that’s the truth, the other side of the truth is that your stern feedback has only helped me shape my way of working in the organisation. I will be thankful for your guidance and the way you have carried out discussions with the team, the much enlightening discussions for that matter.

And, last but presumably the most significant part of the organisation, the Technical Team of CloudGo, that has helped the People & Culture Team, and to me in particular, in making me acquainted with the technical jargon, help conduct the technical interviews, evaluating the candidates, and building a strong team that we proudly call today, ‘The CloudGo Team’. You are the gems we have in CloudGo. The entire Technical Team has proven its amazing talent. Thank you team, as it wouldn’t have been possible without you.

I wish all the very best to Team CloudGo in their future endeavours. Being the elite partner of ServiceNow; having ‘Great Place To Work’ certified, doubling the team size during tough times such as the Covid pandemic, the organisation has proved its tenacity and continues to scale the unprecedented growth.
