Dear You,
I'll be the first to admit it: I'm not a great dancer. In fact, I don't really know how to dance, and honestly, I suck at it. I mean I can move to rhythms but that's it. I stopped trying to dance at all, in public or even in my own private shower where no one can laugh or pass a snide remark: You are such a terrible dancer. But that's okay. I've learned to embrace my imperfections and how I know and love to.
In a world where perfectionism reigns supreme, it's easy to get caught up in the idea that we need to be flawless to be worthy. But what if I told you that your imperfections are actually your greatest strengths?
Fear of imperfection and fear of judgment hold many of us back from expressing ourselves creatively. We've been conditioned to believe that only a select few are truly talented, and that everyone else should just appreciate their work.
But the truth is, creativity is a muscle that can be developed, and everyone has a unique voice and perspective to offer. By not singing, writing, or painting because we're afraid of not being good enough, we rob ourselves of the chance to grow, learn, and improve. We also deprive the world of our unique contribution.
As Brené Brown says, "Imperfections are not inadequacies; they are reminders that we're all in this together." So, let's embrace our imperfections and take the leap. Let's create something beautiful, even if it's not perfect.
We don't have to be perfect to enjoy the things we love. We don't dance because we aren't that good. We don't sing because we're not pitch-perfect. But the truth is, we're all a little bit average at some things. And that's okay. It's more than okay – it's necessary.
So, stop holding yourself back from enjoying the things you love because you're not a prodigy at everything.
Celebrate your small wins, your tiny triumphs, and your incremental progress. Remember, the only way to get better at something is to do it.

Dance like nobody's watching. Sing like you're in the shower. Write like you're journaling. Soak up the moment, like a sponge in the sun. Breathe deeply, like you’re a leaf in the wind. Embrace the messiness of the process. Create like nobody's judging. Paint like you're a kindergartener. And most importantly, enjoy the process, imperfections and all.
Live, because you're already enough
Embracing imperfection, on the other hand, can allow us to:
This is one way to live a fulfilling life.
Let's go #Beyond Horizons again next time.
Cheers to a #fulfilling life.
Yours Sincerely
