The unacknowledged - A.I ( Artificial Intelligence)
Before I begin to write more about the said topic, I must clarify that these are my personal opinions and restricted to my knowledge.
"Artificial Intelligence" is right here and right now ! Despite of knowing it's unimaginable potential, which could be hazardous, why is it not being considered on a serious note ?
The biggest question lies in the regulations of using this advanced technology, as real as it could get to replacing a human body, the dark side of this advancement is not that far.
The closest reference I can personally related to A.I is watching "Terminator" during my childhood and so called "Fiction" movie felt like surreal. Are we time travelling ? Small thought :)
To me this technology is like a 'switch on and off button' with algorithms. And if these machineries do not understand the if's and but's, lets begin this party of the Joker like in the movie Batman !!
It cannot be denied that artificial intelligence has added tremendous value to a few industries like Warehouses, Construction Industry , FMCG's and more.
However, one of the most debated argument is its impact on the manpower (chopping of jobs) in various industries. In other words, human beings are being replaced by artificial machines to perform similar tasks with more precision and better output.
In my personal opinion, such trends are not surprising at all ! Technology over a period of decades has replaced multiple jobs operated by them and this would continue to do so in the future too.
Facts which sounds relevant:-
- Companies are looking to save cost and hence replacement.
- There is so much of competition to produce better products in quick turnarounds.
- Time is money !!!
- Ease of convenience.
- Perfection is not impossible anymore.
- Waste Management.
- Lower cost over period of time with high initial investment.
While the above thoughts seems brightful, it is extremely crucial to know its cons too :-
- Definitely replacing manpower with more numbers.
- Illegal usage like Robotic Army and many others.
- Human Connect - Emotions !
- Privacy.
- Too much perfection to be delivered by humans to sustain themselves.
- Lack of regulation.
It leaves us with many questions ....
And one of the most intrigued question being- "Were those fiction movies really Fictional ?"
