I’m really proud to announce that NGC Networks has been selected as the exclusive CityFibre launch partner for Wakefield, delivering ultra-fast full fibre connectivity to local businesses.

The provision of the network is already underway and will be available later this year. The Wakefield District will benefit from a state-of-the-art digital infrastructure, transforming the network into a Gigabit city. 

The full fibre network, which spans 58km across the city will transform Wakefield’s digital infrastructure with world class connectivity dramatically accelerating the city’s digital capabilities. Local businesses will soon be able access Internet speeds of up to 1000Mbps enabling them to increase productivity and potential for growth.

The Wakefield Gigabit City project is being delivered in exclusive partnership with NGC Networks. We’re delighted to be working with CityFibre to deliver ultrafast pure fibre connectivity in Yorkshire. Our role will be to support businesses in taking advantage of the network which will vastly improve their digital capabilities.
