The Ultimate Traveller 2018

The Ultimate Traveller 2018

Please support my entry for the Cover-More video competition to win The Ultimate Traveller 2018:

SAY YES TO NEW ADVENTURES

It’s a pleasure and honour to share with you some of the highlights from my travels! I hope you enjoy my video and will vote 5 for it and share with your networks!

Curiosity and a craving for stimulation, new cultures, international food, foreign languages and epic landscapes propelled me from a “conventional” life to one of travel. Through my articles and my blog, Wing Woman Adventures, I hope to inspire others to follow their dreams of adventure.

Over the years I’ve been fortunate to have visited 32 countries - and with this competition I’m hoping to add more to the list!

Since I was young I’ve been adventurous, always fascinated about the world we live in and the multitude of diverse people and ways of life.

This drive to experience other places has seen me leave my hometown of Adelaide, to live over the years in different locations such as Sydney Australia, Geneva Switzerland, Medellin Colombia and Tulum Mexico, my current base.

This video contains vision from 7 countries and was taken in the following destinations:

Mexico: Lake Bacalar

Argentina: Iguazú/Igua?u Falls

Australia: Adelaide Tennyson Beach

Argentina: Bariloche town and region

Brazil: Rio De Janeiro favelas

Canada: Whistler, Rocky Mountains - Banff Gondola, Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Bow Lake, Peyto Lake, Bow Lake (again), Toronto Island, Tam Tams at Parc Mont-Royal, Osheaga Music Festival

Cambodia: Koh Rong Samloem, Siem Reap "Pub Street", Ta Prohm temple, Cambodia Dutch Foundation – school

Hawaii: Waimea Canyon, Na Pali Coast State Park

Mexico: Casa Cenote, Beach Tulum, “private” cenote, Dos Ojos cenote, Caleta Tankah, Beach Road Tulum.

Inspiration was drawn from the music I chose as the soundtrack to my edit.

Newsroom: Riot

Club Thump: Gunnar Olsen

Finding Me: Eveningland

Love Now: Eveningland

Workout: Freedom Trail Studio

Thanks and gratitude to Cover-More and The Ultimate Traveller competition - it has given me the impetus to go through hundreds of videos to compile a “best of” my travels.

WOW! What a ride!

Having taught myself to edit in recent years, this project was the perfect challenge to further develop my skills in terms of shooting, editing, pieces to camera, audio, transitions and all the other technical issues which come up in producing a piece of content

You will notice during the video I do not appear on camera regularly. I firmly believe as a photographer, filmmaker and content creator - the outside world, as I see it through the lens, is significantly more interesting than myself being the focus.

The world is such a fascinating place - it speaks for itself!

In summary, if I have learned anything from travel it’s to:

“Say YES To New Adventures!” and to “Follow That Dream!”

Thanks for watching and may you all have safe, happy, insightful and inspirational travels!
