The ultimate season of giving - our annual Christmas charity project is a success!

As businesses, each year we pose the same question to ourselves: Should we send out business Christmas cards? Is it worth it to give out some kind of holiday treat? Should we pack and send out presents, or perhaps we just post something and leave it at that?

Here at #priint we continue to do something a little different. For several years now, we have organized a Christmas charity campaign in the DACH region as a way to uplift and give back during this special time of year. The response continues to be overwhelmingly positive and we are happy to recognize some of the fantastic organizations in this years campaign.

How does it work?

The cause is worthy and the method is simple: Individuals are sent a priint Christmas card (digital, print or directly via link) with holiday greetings and an invitation to choose one of three foundations of their liking and cast their vote for their preferred cause. We then donate money to that foundation for each vote cast!

The 2023 Projects

Stiftung Kinderglück

The "Stiftung Kinderglück" Foundation is committed to helping children and young people whose path into the world begins with a bit of a stumbling block- as they are affected by poverty, illness and/or trauma. The foundation is guided by children's rights, which includes essential concepts such as equal opportunities and social participation, and implements them with its own aid projects. The aim of the foundation is to work directly with all relevant institutions, including: Youth Welfare Offices, Child Protection Association, Clinic for Child and Adolescent Medicine, youth welfare centers and independent providers of socio-pedagogical family assistance and intensive care for children and adolescents. Through the Kinderglück network, they reach more than 10,000 children a year in a variety of ways.

KiPa-cash-4-kids

The children's aid project KiPa-cash-4-kids is designed as a sub-project within the LebensWert project. It supports and promotes assistance to disadvantaged children in Duisburg and beyond.

Children receive individually targeted support in the areas of sports, music and art through various sponsorships. In instances of medical emergencies, there is also financial support for therapeutic measures or surgical procedures if health insurance does not cover the costs.

In 2017, a children's educational kitchen was established. It is run by a chef as well as a socio-educational specialist. Children and young people are offered the opportunity to learn about healthy eating, proper hygiene, community, table culture and responsibility for their own bodies in various fun cooking and baking courses in age-appropriate groups ranging from ages 6-18.

Helfende H?nde e.V.

The aim of the non-profit organization "Helfende H?nde e.V" / Helping Hands e.V. is to provide humanitarian aid in Mauritania, Burundi and Uganda.

They aim to make the world a better place and have the several important priorities, including: acquisition and dispatch of relief supplies, implementation of surgical camps, medical care, and coaching of local self-help organizations and volunteers.

Each year, at least one aid delegation travels to the three countries to provide targeted help. These missions are planned for the long term and are project-related. As a rule, they send an overseas container in advance in order to be able to carry out their missions directly on site. The missions are purely voluntary, with those involved using their vacation time for them to support the cause.

We would like to use our reach for precisely such projects. The projects have traditionally been suggested by our #priint team and we are delighted to be able to donate a total of €2,500 to these three causes - divided up according to the evaluation of the votes!
