The Ultimate Revelation Of "Taking Action".
I read this quote above the other day and I stopped and thought to myself this is exactly what I’ve been saying for awhile now.
So many times we can go on social media or the news, or magazines, or books, or really any type of media and read about what people think should be done to make the world a better place.
The funny thing that most people don’t realize is that reading something is never going to change the world.
Don’t get me wrong reading other peoples ideas and words can start to make a change in our minds and the way we think about things, but it will never change the world.
The only way to change the world is through ACTION!!
That means that after we read these great ideas or these great words we need to get up off our asses and go do something about it.
That means going outside of ourselves and engaging with other people.
It also means:
- Talking to others about our ideas.
- Getting involved in groups or making groups for different causes or objectives.
- Donating our time and talents to help others and different groups who are making the changes we want to see in the world.
- If there isn’t a group or organization to address the things we feel are important to change the world then don’t be afraid start one yourself.
- Spreading your message to like minded people.
- Using social media to find and communicate with like minded people.
The list is really endless as to what kind of actions you can take once you decide to do something about the things you’ve read or learned.
The long and short of it is this…
You will never change the world by reading or writing about things that should be done to make it better. The only true way to ever make any change whether it is within ourselves or outside of ourselves is to “Take Action” to do something about it.
That’s the secret my friends.
I hope you will decide in the future to “Take Action” for the things you want to see changed in your life and in the world around you.
