THE ULTIMATE MOTHER’S DAY COCKTAIL CELEBRATION WITH BELUGA GOLD LINE

Every Mum deserves a treat, and whilst we know we should be showing our appreciation for the brilliant Mums all year round, Mother’s Day is a great excuse to make an extra special effort. We decided to celebrate this year’s Mother’s Day with lovingly and thoughtfully crafted Beluga Gold Line cocktails. We’ve sourced inspiration from some of the best UK’s bar industry professionals and asked them to create cocktails to celebrate all wonderful Mums around the world.

Recipe: 10/15 Fresh Raspberries, 30ml Beluga Gold Line, 25ml Creme de Framboise, 10ml Lemon Juice, 10ml Peach Juice, 2 Drops of Mint Bitters

Finished with Fresh Mint Flavoured Foam

Inspiration

This cocktail is inspired by the deep red colour that symbolises a mother’s unconditional love. A luxurious and sophisticated cocktail made with Beluga Gold Line, fresh raspberries and finished with a white mint foam for a perfect balance.

Recipe: 30ml Beluga Gold Line, 65ml Cold Filtered Coffee, 30ml Ume No Yado Yuzushu, 150ml Merchant’s Heart, 20ml Pampelle

Inspiration

Pink Carnation is a particular flower that is commonly given to mothers on this special day. Rasty’s inspiration was based on recreating an abstract bouquet of flowers inside a glass. The idea is to use ingredients that would express the floral nature of the key components. Beluga Gold Line delivers a creamy base creating a powerful backbone to build on. Yuzu sake provides gentle acidity and freshness. Mixed with a generous amount of very rare coffee from Sudan by Crankhouse Coffee, which adds a twist but at the same time works perfectly creating contrasting floral notes. Pampelle delivers notes of grapefruit and generous freshness. Hibiscus tonic adds a gentle bitterness as well as perfumed notes of hibiscus.

COFFEE Origin: Valle Del Cauca, Colombia, Elevation - 1570-1850m, Variety - Mandella, Process - Controlled fermentation followed by drying.

Tasting notes: boozy, tropical fruits, rum, orange, lemongrass and honey, lychee, strawberry

The glassware comes from KIMURA brand based in Japan, known for high-end thin-walled glassware. The glass is perfect for this cocktail on this special occasion to celebrate mothers around the world.

Garnish is WASANBON. Japanese artisanal sugar compressed into a shape of flower.

Recipe: 50ml Beluga Gold Line, 10ml Muyu Jasmine Verte, 10ml St Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Top Soda Water

Garnish with White Flowers

Inspiration

The cocktail draws inspiration from Luca’s mother's favourite tea – jasmine tea. This seasonal and refreshing drink combines jasmine and elderflower liqueur with perfectly balanced smooth, creamy and herbaceous notes of Beluga Gold Line. “Like Mum Used To Make” is a delicate cocktail which is rich in its own simplicity. Delivering a memory of childhood when the whole house used to smell of jasmine.

BELUGA FLOWER

Cocktail by Tomas Kracalik, Galvin at Windows - 10 Degrees London

Recipe: 35ml Beluga Gold Line, 15ml Strawberry Consommé, 30ml Sushi vinegar, 15ml Fresh lemon juice. Top up with Rose Champagne.

Shake all of the ingredients with the exception of the champagne and fine strain your liquid into your favourite cocktail glass over broken pieces of clear ice. Top up with your favourite rose champagne. Garnish with flowers which you would like to give to your mother.

MOTHER'S DAY MARTINI

Recipe: 45ml Beluga Gold Line, 20ml Lemongrass & Milk Whey Liqueur, 10ml Mancino Bianco

Garnish with White Chocolate & Caviar

Inspiration

Because mothers deserve a drink as strong as they are! When tasting Beluga Gold Line you get beautiful creamy notes as well as a hint of salinity. It reminded me of a white chocolate and caviar pairing I had tried before with the salinity of the caviar cutting through the white chocolate. It's not a pairing you easily forget.
