Using Topics to Boost Conversions
Choose topics you are seeing a lot of. When clients are coming to me, and I’m hearing the same pain point over and over, I turn it into content. This is the 5x rule - if I’ve taught something five times or had five people ask for the information, it needs to be a topic for training or teaching. Nikki uses this same approach and this is how she brings more subscribers and consumers into her paid groups and bootcamps.

Having a clear goal or purpose for your show is vital to the show's overall sustainability. If you are a new host and do not have backend products to drive listeners to, that isn’t a deal breaker but there should be some clear goal of what you hope to build as your show grows.?

Be Specific With Guests
For every guest you choose, there has to be alignment with your integrity as a host. Meaning, anyone you bring into your show has to match what you are bringing to your listeners. There also needs to be something your guest can bring to your listeners they are not going to get anywhere else. Making this a priority from the beginning will change the way you choose guests. Choosing guests specific to the growth of your audience will increase your potential binge factor and sales.?
The Sales Maven also brings members from her society onto the show for on-air coaching, an approach that has been very successful for me as well. This is valuable because listeners get to be a fly on the wall and hear a real-life example of someone in their same shoes, while the guest gets gritty advice in real time with Nikki.?
