The ultimate S K I EDIT | by Markus
Oh winter how I've missed you...
I am a summer person I really am. I like it warm. Waking up early and the sun is already shining. Going for a ride on my bike (before it?gets?too hot). Watching the clouds passing by while lying in?that?hidden bay... the one that Roberto Vergottini told me, but I wasn't sure if I would?find it.?Sitting in a?piazza?later with a?gelato?in my hand?(which I truly deserve as I burnt so many calories... haha). Or even later back at the?spiaggia?for a sundowner (Americano was my favourite last month - the?aperitivo?not the coffee).?
But when someone mention mountains & skiing - even in summer - I am entirely in my element?(some may say I am addicted). Especially now as? Süddeutsche Zeitung ?and international travel sections begin to fill up with articles about winter getaways. And sometimes I wish that directly after summer comes winter (like after the rain comes sun). My parents were ski instructors -?they took us boys very early up to the hills. And we loved it. Well, we still do.
So here I am now. Stuck in autumn in between summer & winter and?dreaming of cloud number nine?- and sharing?my five?fave spots in ze Alps with you.
