The ultimate cool Frenchy in Boston

The ultimate cool Frenchy in Boston

No one is more French than Jerome! Born in Le Mans, the Sarthe’s region of France https://goo.gl/maps/gmiunGPJD772 . Jerome studied Hotel Business first in Le Mans. Le Mans is known to car and motorcycle race fans for its 24 heures du Mans https://www.lemans.org/en and to the gourmets for its ‘rillettes’ https://www.regions-of-france.com/regions/pays_de_la_loire/food-gastronomy/rillettes-porc/

In 2000, he completed his Hotel business education and followed an array of experiences covering every aspect of the restaurant business and a desire to travel abroad to acquire an international ‘savor faire’, from New York to Nassau and Saint Barthelemy (Saint’ Barth’) and Massachusetts.

In 2008, Jerome became the Ma?tre D’ of La Voile, owned by Swiss-American sailing enthusiast, Pierre Honegger.

Jerome is everywhere from morning to night, he sees every detail, manage his team like a ‘Chef d’Orchestre’ and like an orchestra Conductor he knows every ‘instrument’ of the restaurant business. His "savoir faire" is quite extraordinary and his positive energy reflects on his Team who greets you as you walk in with "Bonsoir!"

Jerome is hard working, creative, friendly and very direct; he has kept a strong French accent and speaks very fast.

But Jerome also has a business vision for the future which more recently lead to the opening of a second La Voile in Brookline in 2015.

His enthusiasm and “Joie de vivre” is contagious and he has developed a thriving catering business which I have solicited many times, whether for cocktail events of seated lunch or dinner event.

Jerome recently partnered with Susu Aylward, Proprietor of SUSU Bakery Boutique in Wellesley with a La Voile pop-up Restaurant in the chic Burb !

Over the years, Jerome has become my best French friend in Boston and I became a proud La Voile addict !
