As builders, makers, and creators, we must innovate. Innovation requires us to generate original ideas that are both surprising and valuable. These ideas will emerge from the unique insights we gain, ultimately leading to our next creation.
As I wrote in my Startup as artist essay, "The startup of the future needs to think and create like an artist. More human in every way. More creative. Infused with interesting ideas at every turn."
To do that, we need to live creative lives. Easier said than done, there is a lot to learn to achieve this.

7 个月Great list, Bora Celik! I totally agree that living a creative life is key to innovation. Adding to that, I think it's important to balance creativity with practical application. Sometimes, the best ideas come from combining artistic creativity with real-world problem-solving. It’s also helpful to get diverse perspectives. Reading books from various fields, not just those focused on creativity can spark unique insights. And, for anyone interested in quick summaries and insights (including on many of the books in Bora's list), you might want to check out the free booknibble.com. It's just starting but shows great promise ?? Thanks for sharing this amazing list! I'm excited to dive into some of these recommendations and see how they can inspire new ideas.

7 个月Thanks for posting this list. I’ve read a dozen or so of these and will check out some of the others. I’d also suggest: 1) 'Ignore Everybody: and 39 Other Keys to Creativity' by Hugh McLeod 2) 'Rework' and 'It Doesn’t Have To Be Crazy at Work' by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson 3) David Allen’s 'Getting Things Done' (I’m currently reading his new book Team: Getting Things Done with Others, which is also worth checking out)
