Ukrainian Children: Seek Refuge Too
At the Polish/Ukrainian Border . . . another lyrical prose poem . . .
Some of you know, Ronda and I are still living in Przemysl, Poland, serving refugees & evacuees at the Polish/Ukrainian border -- for 9+ weeks now.
For another firsthand report, click on ?https://www.storyhouse.org/carlw13.html to read about the trauma & distress some children are experiencing.
There you'll find a short prose piece chronicling what it's like to be "on the ground."
But the Real Stars of this piece are "the children": especially one 'little fairy-sprite slip of a girl.'
Huge thanks to Richard Loller, Publisher/Editor Extraordinaire, who posted this piece on his website?Storyhouse.org
Blessings as you see a little what it's like to be a child "seeking safety in flight."
