- Basics – Many of the attacks will follow standard protocols like phishing and social engineering. Remind your employees that this activity will be on the rise and that they should apply extra care in the upcoming weeks.
- Intel – Allocate extra time for intel. If you have a good intel tool, like Recorded Future for instance, please make sure someone is using it. If you don’t have a tool, make regular check ins to the open cyber resource centers like SANS Internet Storm Center
