COP29 is currently taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan, and it has brought together global leaders, industry and civil society to discuss critical climate issues. This year's focus includes advancing commitments to limit global warming to 1.5 °C.

The UK Net Zero Carbon Building Standard Pilot version launched in September 2024. It is the UK's first cross-industry Standard that brings together Net Zero Carbon requirements for all major building types.

This online learning event, which takes place on 11th December, will inform built environment stakeholders about the transition from UKGBC's 2019 Net Zero Carbon Buildings a Framework Definition to the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard over the next year.

What does a climate resilient built environment look like to you?

Over the past year, our Resilience and Nature team have been working on the ground-breaking UK Climate Resilience Roadmap, a collaborative effort between some of the built environment's most influential, trusted, and experienced players using cutting-edge insights at the forefront of the global industry.

We will be unveiling the Roadmap at London Build Expo on the 20th November, introducing some of the key insights, policy recommendations, and our vision of a climate resilient built environment.

Upgrading the nation's homes is one of the biggest opportunities the UK has to reduce carbon emissions whilst tackling the cost-of-living crisis, energy security and levelling up. This report summarises research into existing Retrofit Facilitation Providers and associated issues.
